Road Closure

US ROUTE 22 will be closed in both directions between Watt Street and Pontius Lane starting at 7 a.m. on July 16th for bridge work. This is just west of the Club at the Ohio Christian University.

The detour is US 22 to SR 674 to SR188/Northridge Road to south North Court St. back to US 22.

The project is expected to be completed by July 23rd. Members and guests should seek alternate routes.

Women on Target

Pickaway County Sportsman Club proudly announces that we will be hosting a Women on Target Handgun training seminar on August 16th and 17th 2014.

August 16th will be covering rifles and the 17th will be covering handguns. You may attend either or both days.

We will gather at 8:00am for fellowship and a light breakfast.

Instruction will start at 9:00 am sharp.

All instructional materials, training firearms and ammunition will be provided,

as is breakfast & lunch.

Please, no personal firearms or live ammunition is to be in the Clubhouse.

Note: Phone registrations will be accepted - you can fill out your paperwork between 8:00 and 9:00 am the day of the class.

Classroom instruction will last approximately 3 hours, then lunch, then range time with live fire to follow.

Youth Pheasant Hunt

2014 Youth Hunt

The Deer Creek Chapter of Pheasants Forever welcomes youth ages 10-17 to join us for a day of upland shooting in beautiful Ross County. Hunters will be matched with a guide and dog for an assigned time. We will be chasing ring-necked pheasant, with each hunter given the chance to bag a couple of birds to take home.

Each hunter should have a valid Ohio hunting license, either regular or apprentice license. We encourage hunters to take the hunter education course. Parent or guardian is expected to accompany their hunter. Dress for wet or cold weather. Bring your own shotgun.

Each hunter will receive:
Breakfast or lunch
PF Ringnecks membership
Professional guide service from the folks at Holly Hills
A day of fun and memories
Cost is free -- courtesy of Deer Creek PF, Pickaway County Sportsmen Inc & Division of Wildlife
